
Mix the dough:
In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add warm water and oil. Mix until a soft dough forms.
Knead and rise:
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Shape the rolls:
Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a smooth ball and place them on a greased or parchment-lined baking tray, spaced slightly apart.
Second rise:
Cover the rolls loosely with a kitchen towel and let them rise again for 30 minutes until puffed up.
Bake the rolls:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown on top.
Finish and serve:
Brush warm rolls with melted butter for a soft, shiny finish. Let cool slightly before serving.
