KwaNtebeni Comprehensive High School in the Pinetown/Ilembe region of KwaZulu-Natal continues to achieve excellent academic results, supported by dedicated teachers, hardworking learners and meaningful community partnerships.

In 2025, the school achieved an outstanding 98.57% matric pass rate, with 138 learners passing out of 140 candidates. This builds on the school’s strong academic record, including previous pass rates of 96.2%, and reflects a steady trend of high performance.

Many learners stay at school until 5pm for extra lessons, and Oxford is proud to support them through its sandwich feeding scheme. Teachers say the sandwiches have made a real difference, helping learners stay focused and able to learn.

As one long-serving teacher shared:

“It’s impossible to teach hungry kids. They can’t concentrate. I don’t think anyone can comprehend the huge difference that the sandwiches have made over the years.”

Oxford is proud to stand alongside KwaNtebeni Comprehensive High School and its committed teachers, whose dedication continues to help learners succeed. Congratulations to the school on another exceptional matric result.
