The Win Your Share of Half a Million competition is run by Oxford Family Supermarket (T/A Oxford Freshmarket) and will be open from 1 October 2025 to 31 December 2025. The competition is open to all South African permanent residents and citizens aged 18 years or older, excluding directors, employees, and immediate family members of Oxford Family Supermarkets, its promotional partners, suppliers, printers, and advertising agencies.

To enter, customers must purchase any participating products marked with the “Win Half a Million” competition icon and swipe their Oxford Rewards card at the till with their purchase to register their entry.

Finalists will be required to participate in the final Oxford Half a Million draw event in early 2026 (exact date to be confirmed), where the prize winners will be announced. Each finalist will be contacted up to three times, if unsuccessful, an alternate finalist will be selected.

Prizes:
1st Prize – R250,000 cash
2nd Prize – R150,000 cash
3rd Prize – R100,000 cash

By entering the competition, participants consent to Oxford Family Supermarket using their personal information for purposes related to the competition, including announcing winners and for future marketing initiatives. This may include publicity across radio, print, in-store materials, and Oxford Freshmarket’s website and social media platforms. Participants who take part in publicity campaigns will not be entitled to any remuneration, and all related materials will remain the property of the promoter.
