cook Time
  • 1kg chicken wings
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp onion powder
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • 1 tsp corn flour
  • Toasted sesame seeds

  1. In a bowl, combine all marinade ingredients except the corn flour. Toss the chicken wings through the mixture and allow to stand for 10 minutes.
  2. Preheat the Airfryer to Air Fry, 180°C for 15 minutes.
  3. When preheating is complete, place chicken wings in the drawer in a single layer. Cook in batches if necessary.
  4. Turn the chicken wings halfway through the cooking time.
  5. Meanwhile, pour the remaining marinade into a small pot and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. In a separate cup, mix 1 Tbsp marinade with 1 tsp corn flour, then stir this slurry back into the pot.
  7. Stir continuously for 30 seconds until the sauce thickens into a sticky glaze.
  8. Once the wings are cooked, transfer to a serving dish and drizzle with the glaze (or serve on the side as a dipping sauce).
  9. Finish with toasted sesame seeds.
