1. Make the dough:
In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. In another bowl, mix the warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
2. Prepare the filling:
Mix the softened butter, brown sugar, cocoa powder, and cinnamon into a paste.
3. Roll and fill:
Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a large rectangle (about 30x40 cm). Spread the chocolate-cinnamon mixture evenly across the dough. Sprinkle chocolate chips or chopped chocolate on top.
Roll the dough up tightly from the long side, then slice into 12 equal pieces.
Place the rolls in a greased or lined baking dish, leaving space between them. Let rise again for 15–20 minutes while you preheat the oven to 180°C.
4. Bake:
Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
5. Glaze it up:
While still warm, drizzle the rolls with sweetened condensed milk. You can also mix the condensed milk with a splash of vanilla or a dusting of cinnamon for extra flavor.
