BBQ Chicken Drumsticks

  • 10 chicken drumsticks
  • ½ Tbsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 4 Tbsp BBQ sauce
  1. Season the chicken:
    Pat the drumsticks dry with paper towel. Add the paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of BBQ sauce. Mix well to coat evenly.
  2. First cook:
    Arrange the drumsticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 180°C for 15 minutes.
  3. Flip & continue cooking:
    Open the drawer, flip each drumstick, and cook for another 10–15 minutes.
  4. Sauce & finish:
    After 30 minutes total cooking time, brush all sides of the drumsticks with the remaining BBQ sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to caramelise.
  5. Serve:
    Remove from the air fryer and enjoy hot.
